My mom was the original inspiration for MyGuaranteedHandyman. When we were first getting started she lived about an hour away from me, and every time I went to visit she had a list of repairs around the house waiting. Sometimes it was as simple as changing a lightbulb, fixing a leaky faucet, or her toilet was broken and needed to be replaced. I think she even created things for me to do just to try and get me up there.
Time passed and, like many of us, I became busier with work, my young family, and my own home. As hard as I tried I was unable to get up there to help her as much as she needed. I just wanted to give my mom peace of mind, and find a dependable handyman to help her, when the need arose. Knowing she was taken care of would give me a sense of comfort as well.
One day while helping her with the fridge I mentioned that I was trying to find someone for her to call when a problem came up. She looked directly at me and said “Why would I do that, I have you…” I tried to explain that having someone who was local and available 24/7 would be more helpful. She laughed and said “maybe you just need to find more people like myself who need a good handyman.” Being an entrepreneur who had started a few other businesses, and knowing how much I liked helping others, my mom looked at me and smiled.

We have two membership options to choose from: “A+” and “A++.” Both of these options can be billed on either a monthly or annual basis and each level has been customized for your specific needs.
